Been at Welton kickboxing club for 4 years now and was a club member when held at Dunholme. The club instructor Tim Greaves is a remarkable teacher and caters for all levels. If you want to gain fitness and lose a few pounds then KB is just the job… Or if you want to build confidence and learn how to fight with control then it will do this for sure. Either way you will meet some great people and walk away knowing that you have learnt something that will not only make you feel better but might one day come in handy!!!

So grab your shorts/tracksuit bottoms, an old tee shirt, towel and bottle of water and come and have some fun…

See you there from 7:30 on Wednesday evenings and ask for Tim… You can’t miss him, he has very little hair and a big belly… But as he says, “that’s body armor” and believe me it really is… He is a qualified teacher in many arts…

Hahah thought I should post a comment as well. I had never been in a fight in my life and to be honest until I joined Welton kickboxing club the only fights I had seen had been on television. Learning how to actually throw a punch was an eye opener and to be honest I was shocked that I could not. I have now been going for over 1 year and can say it is a far better workout and price than any Gym membership.

Hey, my friend and I want to start kickboxing and we came across this site. We were wandering how much the lessons cost? We are absolute beginners as well so what would happen about equipment etc?
    Thank you for your time.

How much is it for a senior class?

    Hi Simon,

The price for adults is £4 per session (every Wednesday)for the first month, then if you like it, it is £18 per month. It is very relaxed with regards to dress code, just wear shorts tee-shirt and bring a towel and bottle of water. First session is free I believe, but might be worth bringing £4 just in case Tim has changed it, but he too is very relaxed.

There are a few new people just starting so now is a good tie to come along. feel free to come down and watch and see what you think, but it always looks worse if you watch, its much better to jump on in and have some fun. No one will bully you, you will be taught at your own level…..

Its great fun and will help you with confidence and fitness

    Hope this helps
